Version 2.0.0 · Last reviewed: 2026-05-04

RiskVector uses a multi-dimensional risk assessment framework based on ISO 31000 principles. Each country is evaluated across 6 key dimensions using data from authoritative international sources.

Scoring Scale: 0-100 (100 = safest)

90-100
Minimal

Very low risk. Standard precautions sufficient.

70-89
Low

Low risk. Normal travel with basic awareness.

50-69
Moderate

Moderate risk. Heightened awareness recommended.

30-49
High

High risk. Essential travel only with planning.

0-29
Critical

Critical risk. Travel strongly discouraged.

Confidence Score

Confidence scores reflect data availability and source reliability per country. Countries with more data sources receive higher confidence scores.

Update frequency: Scores recalculated monthly. Alert levels updated in real-time.

Limitations

  • Scores represent general country-level risk and may not reflect conditions in specific regions.
  • Data availability varies significantly between countries.
  • Historical data may not predict future events.
  • Scores should be used as one input among many for travel decisions.
